Camera
Used when you choose to scan a supported QR code to pair with a terminal. The camera image is used to read the code; DriverSync does not need to keep the QR image after pairing information has been interpreted.
Bluetooth / nearby devices
Used at sites that support Bluetooth-based discovery or pairing so the app can identify compatible nearby terminals.
Location
Location may be requested where a site enables location-assisted discovery or where the Android operating system requires location-related access for a supported nearby-device workflow. DriverSync does not use location for advertising.
Network access
Used to authenticate, establish secure sessions, exchange permitted workflow information with STAKeM services and participating site systems, and keep the session state current.
Driver, vehicle and transaction data
Information you enter is used to complete the operational workflow selected by you and the participating site. This can include driver details, company, vehicle registration, references, customer/product selection and weighbridge transaction information.
Advertising
DriverSync is not designed to serve third-party advertising.
Account/data controls
You can request account and personal-data deletion at Delete DriverSync account/data.
